Thanks to some nice moves Manolo Lacorte could shoot a difficult shot in the 3rd minute, which Misael Solera however easily saved by the left post. Manolo Lacortes short, quick shot in the 5thth minute got Misael Solera to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Misael Solera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Apoena Ocaña in the 10th minute of the match. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cañamero C.F.'s goalkeeper Misael Solera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With his leg Misael Solera managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when Rayo Tharkad's Manolo Lacorte fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Misael Solera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hondo Arratia, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Rayo Tharkad's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Zumar Figueroa in the 20th minute. After taking down the ball on Rayo Tharkad's corner Zumar Figueroa fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Misael Solera quite easily take care of the ball. Feliciano Roig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Misael Solera having to interfere. Nevada Silvestre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radja Head, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute Urtungo Santander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nevada Silvestre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manolo Lacorte could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Misael Solera made a huge save. Manolo Lacorte received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Misael Solera came out and tried to block the shot, but Manolo Lacorte slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 33rd minute. Cañamero C.F.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Horea Teodoroiu in the 38th minute. A hard shot 40 in the game by Manolo Lacorte from a close distance when the talented Misael Solera managed to make a qualified save. Cañamero C.F.'s players were relieved. Humberto Leon struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Misael Solera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rayo Tharkad. Rayo Tharkad's Hector Dorado was substituted for Salbatore Fuentes. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Evelio Zárate made a kick off. Cañamero C.F.'s Radja Head got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 59 minutes into the match, Rayo Tharkad's goalkeeper Nevada Silvestre had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Evelio Zárate. After a rather tough play, Cañamero C.F.'s Memet Cocca got a free kick in the 60th minute. Evelio Zárate in the 62ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nevada Silvestre, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Horea Teodoroiu got free with Nevada Silvestre in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 72 minutes into the game, Horea Teodoroiu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nevada Silvestre. Horea Teodoroiu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. In the 74th minute, Manolo Lacorte left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rayo Tharkad fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. After 82 minutes of play, Rayo Tharkad's Manolo Lacorte made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Misael Solera was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 90 played minutes Rayo Tharkad got a freekick which was hit by Zumar Figueroa. Misael Solera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manolo Lacorte in the 95th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Rayo Tharkad had won after a very even match.
