Nevada Silvestre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stoil Baharov in the 3rd minute of play. 4 minutes into the match, Rayo Tharkad's goalkeeper Nevada Silvestre had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amerigo Obis. Miliano Riba came free with the goalkeeper in the 6th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Nevada Silvestre could save by the left post. Hondo Arratia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anxo Cerreri having to make a save. Anxo Cerreri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hondo Arratia in the 11th minute of the match. Nevada Silvestre made an important save on a dangerous shot by Miliano Riba in the 14th minute. Anxo Cerreri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hondo Arratia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rayo Tharkad's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Zumar Figueroa in the 17th minute. With a little luck, Rayo Tharkad's Nevada Silvestre got control of the ball when Miliano Riba tried to sneak it across the goal line. Reynaldo Uria could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Nevada Silvestre made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Barrio Sesamo's zone, Manolo Lacorte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anxo Cerreri came out of the goal and Manolo Lacorte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 30 minutes into the match, Barrio Sesamo's goal looked a bit too open when Manolo Lacorte came free, but Anxo Cerreri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nevada Silvestre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miliano Riba, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Anxo Cerreri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manolo Lacorte in the 40th minute of the match. Anxo Cerreri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Apoena Ocaña in the 47th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Rayo Tharkad's Hector Dorado was substituted for Salbatore Fuentes. The supporters of Rayo Tharkad booed when Barrio Sesamo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reynaldo Uria didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miliano Riba in the 54th minute of play forced Rayo Tharkad's goalkeeper Nevada Silvestre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th minute Manolo Lacorte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anxo Cerreri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anxo Cerreri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Apoena Ocaña, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. An unexpected shot in the 62nd minute by Manolo Lacorte got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hondo Arratia got free with Anxo Cerreri in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 73rd minute Miliano Riba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nevada Silvestre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Barrio Sesamo getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Gregorio Costa hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Apoena Ocaña in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anxo Cerreri saved Barrio Sesamo from getting behind. Anxo Cerreri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manolo Lacorte in the 79th minute. Barrio Sesamo made a substitution. Alf Sandberg replaced Miliano Riba. Thanks to some nice moves Hondo Arratia could shoot a difficult shot in the 92nd minute, which Anxo Cerreri however easily saved by the left post. When Stoil Baharov fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barrio Sesamo's protests and gave Stoil Baharov a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Barrio Sesamo getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Stoil Baharov hit a great ball. In the 94th minute of the match, Manolo Lacorte got a very nice opportunity to score, but Anxo Cerreri was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Rayo Tharkad walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
