A collision led to Skovbølling getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Vinzent Dumong hit a great ball. Bertel Foltmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maciej Konieczny in the 12th minute of play. Nichlas Vesterdahl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erling Franks, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. If Bruno Steenbeck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bruno Steenbeck might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bertel Foltmann. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bruno Steenbeck ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Steenbeck in the 59th minute of play forced Skovbølling's goalkeeper Bertel Foltmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Skovbølling's Bertel Foltmann got control of the ball when Bruno Steenbeck tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rene Rostholm's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 67thth minute, Bertel Foltmann skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 81st minute of the match Randers A.F.C. got a corner. Skovbølling's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Maciej Konieczny ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well done corner resulted in Radim Gola drilling the ball in to score 1-5 behind Skovbølling's goalkeeper. Bertel Foltmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Terri Bulk in the 92nd minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, Terri Bulk had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bertel Foltmann. Skovbølling's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Terri Bulk was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-6. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Randers A.F.C. eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
