Frederik Strzelczyk hit a great ball. Emilio Melzer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Martin Theodore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emilio Melzer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Theodore having to interfere. KIEZKICKER's Martin Theodore proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save KIEZKICKER from getting a goal against them. Hertha 1969 were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after KIEZKICKER's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nertil Maldini took the corner. Hertha 1969's Rune Jarstein played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artur Bachor in the 22nd minute of play. Rune Jarstein made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artur Bachor in the 29th minute of play. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hertha 1969's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Louis Leißner was slow to take the kick. During this time KIEZKICKER's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Louis Leißner almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Hertha 1969's Rune Jarstein did a great save. 41 minutes into the match, Wilhelm Nienhaus dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Martin Theodore, 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wilhelm Nienhaus to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wilhelm Nienhaus in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Martin Theodore prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ziemowit Tscherner kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Rune Jarstein showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artur Bachor, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. KIEZKICKER's Martin Theodore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilhelm Nienhaus in the 60th minute of play. Martin Theodore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilhelm Nienhaus in the 62nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilhelm Nienhaus in the 64th minute of play forced KIEZKICKER's goalkeeper Martin Theodore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wilhelm Nienhaus in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Martin Theodore saved KIEZKICKER from getting behind. Rune Jarstein showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gigel Elenescu in the 69th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilhelm Nienhaus in the 74th minute of play forced KIEZKICKER's goalkeeper Martin Theodore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Martin Theodore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kristian Oswald, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute, Benedikt Bensch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When KIEZKICKER's Artur Bachor in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 86th minute Rupert Heidingsfelder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Theodore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edwin Linde, 93 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 97 minutes into the game, Alessandro Marín was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KIEZKICKER's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hertha 1969 the free kick. After 97 played minutes KIEZKICKER got a freekick which was hit by Alessandro Marín.
