KIEZKICKER's Hazım Tuğlu managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Rouven Bernhauer in the 4 minute of the game. Martin Theodore stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Loris Groß's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. 13 minutes into the match, KIEZKICKER's goal looked a bit too open when Loris Groß came free, but Martin Theodore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Martin Theodore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Loris Groß, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the game, Loris Groß cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Martin Theodore was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moises Boniel in the 23rd minute of play forced Fc Schönhagen's goalkeeper Adulfo Antunez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Loris Groß came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Fc Schönhagen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Loris Groß couldn't finish the play. In the 31st minute, Loris Groß ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Martin Theodore was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Fc Schönhagen's Rouven Bernhauer quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ferdi Kadıoğlu, made in the 34th minute of the game. Loris Groß might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Martin Theodore. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Loris Groß ran back to his position shaking his head. 35 minutes into the match, KIEZKICKER's goal looked a bit too open when Loris Groß came free, but Martin Theodore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Martin Theodore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loris Groß in the 40th minute of play. When Fc Schönhagen's Loris Groß in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KIEZKICKER's goalie prevented a goal. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

KIEZKICKER's Alessandro Marín was substituted for Ferdi Kadıoğlu. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Artur Bachor to make the kick off. Martin Theodore made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Loris Groß sent off a good shot on target. Golo Kante hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Adulfo Antunez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artur Bachor in the 62nd minute of play. KIEZKICKER were awarded a corner in the 64th minute after Fc Schönhagen's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Louis Leißner took the corner. The corner led KIEZKICKER's Louis Leißner to fire away a dangerous shot which Adulfo Antunez despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Adulfo Antunez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moises Boniel, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Loris Groß sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Loris Groß in the 73rd minute of play forced KIEZKICKER's goalkeeper Martin Theodore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. KIEZKICKER's attentive Louis Leißner managed to snatch the ball when Klaus Wauters made a throw-in in the 79th minute of the game. In the 80th minute Moises Boniel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adulfo Antunez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fc Schönhagen's Adulfo Antunez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artur Bachor in the 82nd minute of play. If Artur Bachor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th minute, Artur Bachor left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KIEZKICKER fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. With an all-out effort, Fc Schönhagen's Martin Theodore threw himself towards the right post 89 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Loris Groß, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After having played for 95 minutes, Loris Groß managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fc Schönhagen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Loris Groß was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Fc Schönhagen supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Fc Schönhagen would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
