Diki Doro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from King Scorpio in the 24th minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Dumitru Purcărete came free, but Diki Doro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- were awarded a corner. Stasio Bienienda went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Emil Wielopolski heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After a rather tough play, A4p FC Gad's Amador Martxel got a free kick in the 37th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zhao Sen Yang to strike the kick off in the second half. Glenn Fyfe came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Primitivo Grau. But to his dismay, Primitivo Grau quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. A4p FC Gad's Glenn Fyfe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emil Wielopolski in the 57th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, A4p FC Gad's goal looked a bit too open when Primitivo Grau came free, but Glenn Fyfe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Zhao Sen Yang's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Glenn Fyfe was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. A4p FC Gad's Flavius Cândroveanu was substituted for Daniel Löfgren. The corner led Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Zhao Sen Yang to fire away a dangerous shot which Glenn Fyfe despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zhao Sen Yang in the 67th minute of play forced A4p FC Gad's goalkeeper Glenn Fyfe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes into the match, A4p FC Gad's goal looked a bit too open when Petre Iftode came free, but Glenn Fyfe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 71 minutes into the game, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Primitivo Grau nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Glenn Fyfe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. A4p FC Gad made a substitution. Gică Busuioc replaced James Batistuta. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- made a substitution. Grigore Maghiran replaced Dacian Tilea. Dumitru Purcărete charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dumitru Purcărete the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 83rd minute of the match Stasio Bienienda sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Glenn Fyfe skillfully saved the ball. Diki Doro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gică Busuioc in the 89th minute of the match. Diki Doro made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Flavius Cândroveanu sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Flavius Cândroveanu took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Diki Doro to make any attempt to save it. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
