A collision led to FC Iecēni getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Viktors Behmans hit a great ball. Piotr Tworek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kārlis Dzintars, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Gints Lielgalvis kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Piotr Tworek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bryant Solis in the 35th minute of the match. Pål Bergmann made an important save on a dangerous shot by Viktors Behmans in the 36th minute. Piotr Tworek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bryant Solis's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. DZINTARS's Pål Bergmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viesturs Pilāns in the 39th minute of play. FC Iecēni were furious when Gints Lielgalvis was red carded, 41 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Piotr Tworek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bryant Solis in the 47th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bryant Solis to make the kick off. FC Iecēni's Piotr Tworek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bryant Solis in the 57th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded DZINTARS left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Iecēni.
