The referee showed Digmārs Virkutis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of DZINTARS booed when TΞKMΛN FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Digmārs Virkutis didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Bryant Solis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jude Crocker was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. TΞKMΛN FC's Jude Crocker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bryant Solis in the 17th minute of play. Jude Crocker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bryant Solis, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Kristofers Sajuks could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Pål Bergmann made a huge save. Kristofers Sajuks struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Pål Bergmann didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TΞKMΛN FC. In the 43rd minute Kārlis Dzintars shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jude Crocker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute, Ģirts Ozols hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bryant Solis scored 1-1 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jude Crocker, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 53rd match minute, DZINTARS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bryant Solis to maneuver through the defense. Yussuf Poulsen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pål Bergmann having to make a save. With 70 minutes on the clock, Raimonds Plors commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bryant Solis in the 73rd minute of play forced TΞKMΛN FC's goalkeeper Jude Crocker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
