FK Kochenay's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Vitoldas Gelažius 12 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Vitoldas Gelažius kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vladas Nausėda. That made the score 2-0 in the 18 minute of play. 21 minutes in the game, Jokūbas Ulčinas fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Vladas Nausėda having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, Taurakiemio's goal looked a bit too open when Beržas Paliūnas came free, but Regimantas Vėlius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Svajūnas Turskis kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Taurakiemio's Vitoldas Gelažius ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vladas Nausėda. Vladas Nausėda yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hubertas Tamulis in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Regimantas Vėlius prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vladas Nausėda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vitoldas Gelažius in the 34th minute of the match. A collision led to FK Kochenay getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Titas Gabriūnas hit a great ball. The supporters of Taurakiemio booed when FK Kochenay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tauras Macaitis didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tauras Macaitis during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jurgis Bieliauskas was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 48 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th match minute, FK Kochenay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tauras Macaitis to maneuver through the defense. Beržas Paliūnas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Taurakiemio walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
