Battle's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mani Emad was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Battle's Parham Taghavi got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 17 minutes into the match, Farzan Alinejad dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hami Bagheri, 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Parham Taghavi got free with Hami Bagheri in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Parham Taghavi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute, Mehrak Hajrezaei ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ahmet Koralp Şafakgün was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After 29 minutes of play, Battle's Parham Taghavi made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hami Bagheri was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Kirderazan FC booed when Battle was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Parham Taghavi didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Parham Taghavi got free with Hami Bagheri in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 42nd minute, Battle's Farzan Alinejad ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hami Bagheri. Hami Bagheri yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-2. Battle's Parham Taghavi got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Farzan Alinejad stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ahmet Koralp Şafakgün took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mehrak Hajrezaei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ahmet Koralp Şafakgün made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Mehrak Hajrezaei sent off a good shot on target. Hami Bagheri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Farzan Alinejad in the 55th minute of the match. Ahmet Koralp Şafakgün stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mehrak Hajrezaei's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. In the 58th match minute, Battle was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ebrahim Shahabnia to maneuver through the defense. In the 59th minute Farzan Alinejad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hami Bagheri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Battle's goal looked a bit too open when Sami Zare came free, but Ahmet Koralp Şafakgün reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Farzan Alinejad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Hami Bagheri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ahmet Koralp Şafakgün showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mehrak Hajrezaei, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After 79 minutes, Behrad Heidari mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Battle and the Kirderazan FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Behrad Heidari kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Parham Taghavi hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. After 83 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Battle! An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehrak Hajrezaei in the 89th minute of play forced Battle's goalkeeper Ahmet Koralp Şafakgün to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Sami Zare had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Milad Taherpour fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kirderazan FC's protests and gave Milad Taherpour a yellow card for diving instead. After 92 played minutes Kirderazan FC got a freekick which was hit by Milad Taherpour. Parham Taghavi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Kirderazan FC defense, Farzan Alinejad kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hami Bagheri. The Kirderazan FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hami Bagheri should have stopped the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Battle fans cheered their team off the field, for while Kirderazan FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
