In the 22nd minute of the match, Salar Jahromi got a very nice opportunity to score, but Olaf Okopny was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Olaf Okopny stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of İlyas Mecnun's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. When İlyas Mecnun got free in front of the goal in the 48th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Olaf Okopny was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abou Ali Kavianpour to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in باشگاه سپاهان's zone, Abou Ali Kavianpour stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florin Aldescu came out of the goal and Abou Ali Kavianpour tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. There was no doubt that باشگاه سپاهان were the better team. باشگاه سپاهان's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
