Mohammad Hamidi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmad Reza Ghods in the 23rd minute of the match. After having played for 27 minutes, Ahmad Akbari managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kermanshah's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmad Akbari was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Kermanshah's zone, Pasha Kianian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mohammad Hamidi came out of the goal and Pasha Kianian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mohammad Hamidi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sina Taheri in the 32nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sina Taheri got free with Mohammad Hamidi in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Morad Sadeghian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stig-Åke Ekegren having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After having played for 53 minutes, Ahmad Akbari managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kermanshah's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmad Akbari was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ahmad Akbari charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ahmad Akbari the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ahmad Akbari kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. If Sina Taheri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kermanshah's Mohammad Hamidi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sina Taheri in the 74th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Ali Shahabnia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pasha Kianian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stig-Åke Ekegren was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ahmad Akbari showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 96 minute of play. Ali Daei FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Kermanshah to leave the ground with a draw.
