In the 21st minute, Bameen Firoozabadi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Eastern Kurdistan FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. After 24 minutes, Hassan Bagheri mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Battle and the Eastern Kurdistan FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hassan Bagheri kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Shahyar Daneshjou managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eastern Kurdistan FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Shahyar Daneshjou was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ahmet Koralp Şafakgün breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Battle booed when Eastern Kurdistan FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shahyar Daneshjou didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hooman Fazel ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Battle getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Shahyar Eslami hit a great ball. Shahyar Daneshjou took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 44th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ahmet Koralp Şafakgün. Battle's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 7-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bameen Firoozabadi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Bameen Firoozabadi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Battle's Ahmet Koralp Şafakgün played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hooman Fazel in the 58th minute of play. Hooman Fazel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Koralp Şafakgün having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Battle's goal looked a bit too open when Shahyar Daneshjou came free, but Ahmet Koralp Şafakgün reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bameen Firoozabadi during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bameen Firoozabadi hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bameen Firoozabadi in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ahmet Koralp Şafakgün saved Battle from getting behind. Ahmet Koralp Şafakgün didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bameen Firoozabadi went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. The supporters of Eastern Kurdistan FC booed when Battle was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Farzan Alinejad didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eastern Kurdistan FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Shahyar Daneshjou was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Battle's Ebrahim Shahabnia got a free kick in the 96th minute. Bameen Firoozabadi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Ahmet Koralp Şafakgün tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Eastern Kurdistan FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
