Seating: 2300, VIP seats: 200) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sina Taheri started the match with the kick off. In the 6th minute Sina Taheri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Koralp Şafakgün saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stig-Åke Ekegren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Parham Taghavi in the 8th minute. Parham Taghavi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Stig-Åke Ekegren came out and tried to block the shot, but Parham Taghavi slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 8th minute. Ali Daei FC's Stig-Åke Ekegren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Ali Daei FC from getting a goal against them. Parham Taghavi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Stig-Åke Ekegren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sattar Iranian in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ahmet Koralp Şafakgün saved Battle from getting behind. If Sattar Iranian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Parham Taghavi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahmet Koralp Şafakgün showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pasha Kianian, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Fereydoon Ghobadi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Battle's Ahmet Koralp Şafakgün played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sattar Iranian in the 37th minute of play. Ahmet Koralp Şafakgün made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sattar Iranian in the 40th minute of play. Pasha Kianian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Ahmet Koralp Şafakgün tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
Sattar Iranian struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Ahmet Koralp Şafakgün didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ali Daei FC. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mohammad Reza Niknafs during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 64th minute, Mohammad Reza Niknafs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Battle booed when Ali Daei FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sattar Iranian didn't get a good kick on the ball. Parham Taghavi struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Stig-Åke Ekegren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Battle. Ahmet Koralp Şafakgün came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ali Daei FC's Sattar Iranian. But to his dismay, Sattar Iranian quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Parham Taghavi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Battle's supporters rose to their feet, but Parham Taghavi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stig-Åke Ekegren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sattar Iranian in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ahmet Koralp Şafakgün saved Battle from getting behind. Stig-Åke Ekegren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Farzan Alinejad in the 82nd minute of play. Parham Taghavi struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Stig-Åke Ekegren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Battle. In the 95th minute Sattar Iranian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Koralp Şafakgün saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
