The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hani Al Hashash's late challenge caught a خمسة L ارسنال's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 22nd minute, Vahdet Olgun ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adnan Al Motar was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Nader Abol made in the 26th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Salah Al Homaithe however managed to control. Adnan Al Motar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vahdet Olgun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vahdet Olgun might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adnan Al Motar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vahdet Olgun ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nader Abol during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 39 played minutes SALT got a freekick which was hit by Nader Abol. Vahdet Olgun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Adnan Al Motar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Darweesh Al Wazan hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. خمسة L ارسنال's Omar Al Mosawe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save خمسة L ارسنال from getting a goal against them. After the first half خمسة L ارسنال were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Vahdet Olgun made the kick off in the second half. SALT's Adnan Al Motar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vahdet Olgun in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th minute, Fuad Al Amer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Hani Al Hashash came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the SALT fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hani Al Hashash couldn't finish the play. In the 61st minute, Fared Al Shaikh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 63 minutes into the match, Hani Al Hashash had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Omar Al Mosawe. خمسة L ارسنال's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hani Al Hashash was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Adnan Al Motar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vahdet Olgun in the 80th minute of play. After 83 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SALT! When the match had been going on for 85 minutes, خمسة L ارسنال's Bahaa Boland got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Adnan Al Motar. The crowd rose to their feet as Vahdet Olgun kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Adnan Al Motar. That made the score 2-5 in the 89 minute of play. Vahdet Olgun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adnan Al Motar having to interfere. The خمسة L ارسنال players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
