In the 27th minute, fly Emirates's Mostafa Al Arbash seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Mostafa Al Arbash the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of fly Emirates protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Mostafa Al Arbash had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The supporters of Sharjah FC booed when fly Emirates was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wasel Al Bahar didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 6-0 via right post in the game's 43rd minute. Sharjah FC's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luai Al Amer to strike the kick off in the second half.
