In the 2nd match minute, SALT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salah Al Homaithe to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, SALT's Yousef Al Attar got a free kick in the 5th minute. Adem Boften took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 6th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Adnan Al Motar. SALT's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 7th minute Shjae Al Sallal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adnan Al Motar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 7 minutes, Rajab Al Enzi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SALT and the Fuyaira SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to SALT getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Rajab Al Enzi hit a great ball. In the 8th minute of the match Adem Boften shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adnan Al Motar showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Shjae Al Sallal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 19th minute, Maitham Al Rodhan made a precise shot to the right of Adnan Al Motar. SALT's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 23 minutes into the match, SALT's goal looked a bit too open when Shjae Al Sallal came free, but Adnan Al Motar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gibrel Taqi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Aesem Khaja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adnan Al Motar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basem Shadad in the 26th minute of the match. In the 29th minute Yaqoub Khaja shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adnan Al Motar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 31 minutes SALT's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Adem Boften who took care of the corner kick. In the 32nd match minute, Fuyaira SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Seraj Al Khobaize to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Yaqoub Khaja managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fuyaira SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Yaqoub Khaja was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adnan Al Motar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shjae Al Sallal in the 40th minute of play forced SALT's goalkeeper Adnan Al Motar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

In the 51st minute of the match, Adem Boften got a very nice opportunity to score, but Adnan Al Motar was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Fuyaira SC's Adem Boften slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Adnan Al Motar. That made the score 0-2 after 51 minutes of play. A collision led to SALT getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Yousef Al Attar hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Shjae Al Sallal in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adnan Al Motar saved SALT from getting behind. With a little luck, SALT's Adnan Al Motar got control of the ball when Adem Boften tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 64th minute, Fuyaira SC's Yaqoub Khaja ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Adnan Al Motar. Adnan Al Motar yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Yaqoub Khaja received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Adnan Al Motar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adnan Al Motar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shjae Al Sallal, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 72nd minute, Fuyaira SC's Basem Shadad ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Adnan Al Motar. Adnan Al Motar yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. After 74 played minutes SALT got a freekick which was hit by Gibrel Taqi. After 80 minutes, Nader Abol mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SALT and the Fuyaira SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 80th minute, Nader Abol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 81 minutes into the match, Shjae Al Sallal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adnan Al Motar. SALT's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Shjae Al Sallal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. The audience was convinced that Basem Shadad's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adnan Al Motar was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. After 90 minutes, Darweesh Al Ammar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SALT and the Fuyaira SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, SALT's Darweesh Al Ammar got a free kick in the 90th minute. After a defensive mix-up in SALT's zone, Yaqoub Khaja stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adnan Al Motar came out of the goal and Yaqoub Khaja tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fuyaira SC played a much better game than SALT and deserved their victory. The SALT players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
