In the 5th minute, Akopa Sharma ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kukila Ghai was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Shadow FC's Citaka Chhugani managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jagjeet Gasnette in the 11 minute of the game. Shadow FC were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after Crystal City's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Asvalarana Dhotre took the corner. The corner ended in Asvalarana Dhotre almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Crystal City's Kamasakha Som did a great save. Kukila Ghai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mina Bajwa in the 16th minute of the match. Mina Bajwa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 21 minutes into the match, Akrosa Arneja notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Shadow FC's Kukila Ghai. Kukila Ghai was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kukila Ghai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mina Bajwa in the 24th minute of the match. A collision led to Shadow FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Akrtavrana Vadhwa hit a great ball. Jagjeet Gasnette, 26 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 27 minutes of play, Crystal City's Akopa Sharma made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kukila Ghai was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Shadow FC's zone, Troy Lionheart stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kukila Ghai came out of the goal and Troy Lionheart tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 36 minutes into the match, Mina Bajwa notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Shadow FC's Kukila Ghai. Kukila Ghai was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 39th minute, Akrosa Arneja left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Crystal City fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 60th match minute, Crystal City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bhupinderpal More to maneuver through the defense. Crystal City's Kamasakha Som played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abhiru Rekhi in the 61st minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 62 minutes, Kukila Ghai successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 63rd minute of the match, Akopa Sharma tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kukila Ghai saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Kukila Ghai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Akopa Sharma in the 64th minute of play. Kukila Ghai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Akopa Sharma in the 66th minute of the match. A collision led to Shadow FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Kisni Chaudhary hit a great ball. Shadow FC's Kukila Ghai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jagjeet Gasnette in the 68th minute of play. 69 minutes into the game, Mina Bajwa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kukila Ghai. Mina Bajwa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-9. With a little luck, Shadow FC's Kukila Ghai got control of the ball when Mina Bajwa tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Akopa Sharma in the 75th minute of play forced Shadow FC's goalkeeper Kukila Ghai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mina Bajwa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kukila Ghai came out and tried to block the shot, but Mina Bajwa slotted it home off the left post making it 0-10 in the 76th minute. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, 石寒天 took a quick shot and it went in 0-11 without a chance for Kukila Ghai to make any attempt to save it. Kukila Ghai came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Crystal City's Akopa Sharma. But to his dismay, Akopa Sharma quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-12. Shadow FC's Kukila Ghai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 石寒天 in the 86th minute of play. Kukila Ghai was out of position in the 93 minute of play, and 石寒天 capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. 石寒天 really showed his touch with that goal: 0-14. Asvalarana Dhotre charged in rather forcefully in the 98th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Asvalarana Dhotre the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Crystal City's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
