In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chiang Mai Football Club's goalkeeper Khanakorn Charoenmas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 14 minutes, Cosimo Morelli made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Chiang Mai Football Club's Khanakorn Charoenmas tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Farang FC booed when Chiang Mai Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wisan Hangmui didn't get a good kick on the ball. A very good chance. 27 minutes into the game, Farang FC's Cosimo Morelli nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute, Cosimo Morelli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Khanakorn Charoenmas was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. 40 minutes into the match, Chiang Mai Football Club's goalkeeper Khanakorn Charoenmas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cosimo Morelli. Ragnar Hammarström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The wind increased when Kasidit Pantasen made the kick off in the second half. Pattharawut Sangson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Khanakorn Charoenmas having to interfere. Cosimo Morelli took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Khanakorn Charoenmas. Khanakorn Charoenmas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Ragnar Hammarström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Khanakorn Charoenmas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. In the 62nd minute Cosimo Morelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Khanakorn Charoenmas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Chiang Mai Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Cosimo Morelli came free, but Khanakorn Charoenmas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ragnar Hammarström in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Khanakorn Charoenmas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Farang FC's Leon Borkowski got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 69th minute Cosimo Morelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Khanakorn Charoenmas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Cosimo Morelli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Farang FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cosimo Morelli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Khanakorn Charoenmas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 74th match minute, Farang FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pong Watcharavitayakul to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th minute Cosimo Morelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Khanakorn Charoenmas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Khanakorn Charoenmas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andréas Kaxe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 85 minutes into the game, Farang FC's Cosimo Morelli nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Khanakorn Charoenmas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. Trakarn Pornsaptaveekoon kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chiang Mai Football Club's goalkeeper Khanakorn Charoenmas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Pinthusorn Kheangraeng fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chiang Mai Football Club's protests and gave Pinthusorn Kheangraeng a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Farang FC booed when Chiang Mai Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pinthusorn Kheangraeng didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Farang FC had played much better football throughout.
