The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thani Mettarikanon took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcus Karlstedt. Marcus Karlstedt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Marcus Karlstedt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kiattipong Pinijsuwon, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thani Mettarikanon got free with Marcus Karlstedt in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 15 minutes into the match, Sheffield FC1857's goal looked a bit too open when Andréas Kaxe came free, but Paiboon Permpol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pinyo Jaisom could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Marcus Karlstedt made a huge save. In the 17th match minute, Sheffield FC1857 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thiradet Jutaviriya to maneuver through the defense. Andréas Kaxe took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paiboon Permpol. Paiboon Permpol dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Sayan Kitiwinit received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marcus Karlstedt came out and tried to block the shot, but Sayan Kitiwinit slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 23rd minute. After a rather tough play, Farang FC's Pattharawut Sangson got a free kick in the 25th minute. Tawai Thanomnam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Marcus Karlstedt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pong Watcharavitayakul hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 31 minutes into the game, when Warin Waiyarup put in a rough tackle. In the 33rd minute there was a penalty for Sheffield FC1857. Sakdipat Klangprapan stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Marcus Karlstedt. 3-1. The supporters of Farang FC booed when Sheffield FC1857 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tawai Thanomnam didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andréas Kaxe in the 36th minute of play forced Sheffield FC1857's goalkeeper Paiboon Permpol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Sayan Kitiwinit came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Sheffield FC1857 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sayan Kitiwinit couldn't finish the play. Sheffield FC1857's Paiboon Permpol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andréas Kaxe in the 39th minute of play. Paiboon Permpol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andréas Kaxe in the 43rd minute of the match. Paiboon Permpol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andréas Kaxe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Sheffield FC1857's Thiradet Jutaviriya got a free kick in the 44th minute. 46 minutes into the game, Andréas Kaxe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Farang FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sheffield FC1857 the free kick. After a rather tough play, Farang FC's Andréas Kaxe got a free kick in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Paiboon Permpol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andréas Kaxe, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. If Sayan Kitiwinit had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th minute Thani Mettarikanon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Karlstedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paiboon Permpol made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Cosimo Morelli sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Sheffield FC1857's Paiboon Permpol got control of the ball when Cosimo Morelli tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marcus Karlstedt came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Sheffield FC1857's Sayan Kitiwinit. But to his dismay, Sayan Kitiwinit quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Pinyo Jaisom lost his temper 69 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sheffield FC1857 fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 68th minute. Penalty! Hermann Wachsmann hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sakdipat Klangprapan in the 77th minute of play forced Farang FC's goalkeeper Marcus Karlstedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcus Karlstedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sayan Kitiwinit in the 81st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andréas Kaxe in the 84th minute of play forced Sheffield FC1857's goalkeeper Paiboon Permpol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Thani Mettarikanon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcus Karlstedt. Farang FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Thani Mettarikanon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. Sheffield FC1857 were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Farang FC for a fine match.
