In the 9th minute, Artemio Bernal made a precise shot to the right of Kittisak Netisophakul. Ban Faek's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Artemio Bernal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Domenec Cediel struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Kittisak Netisophakul didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Knattspyrnufélag Akureyri. The supporters of Knattspyrnufélag Akureyri booed when Ban Faek was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pakin Kityapoke didn't get a good kick on the ball. Artemio Bernal succeeded in the game's 24th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-0. With a little luck, Ban Faek's Kittisak Netisophakul got control of the ball when Domenec Cediel tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Ban Faek defense, Artemio Bernal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kittisak Netisophakul. The Ban Faek fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kittisak Netisophakul should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pakin Kityapoke during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 38 played minutes Ban Faek got a freekick which was hit by Pakin Kityapoke. Knattspyrnufélag Akureyri's Artemio Bernal got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 40 minutes, Artemio Bernal made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. Ban Faek's Kittisak Netisophakul tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 8-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Artemio Bernal made a kick off. Knattspyrnufélag Akureyri's Warayu Plpl was substituted for Piyapong Jamjai. In the 71st match minute, Ban Faek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Khwanchai Bunying to maneuver through the defense. After 72 minutes of play, Knattspyrnufélag Akureyri's Artemio Bernal made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kittisak Netisophakul was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Domenec Cediel in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kittisak Netisophakul saved Ban Faek from getting behind. 77 minutes into the game, Knattspyrnufélag Akureyri's Artemio Bernal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kittisak Netisophakul made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. Kittisak Netisophakul showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artemio Bernal, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Kittisak Netisophakul came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Knattspyrnufélag Akureyri's Domenec Cediel. But to his dismay, Domenec Cediel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 11-0. 89 minutes into the match, Ban Faek's goal looked a bit too open when Domenec Cediel came free, but Kittisak Netisophakul reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Domenec Cediel came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Knattspyrnufélag Akureyri fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Domenec Cediel couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Domenec Cediel in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kittisak Netisophakul prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Artemio Bernal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Artemio Bernal came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Knattspyrnufélag Akureyri fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Artemio Bernal couldn't finish the play.
