Seating: 2373, VIP seats: 206) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Juan Eduardo Guerrero kicked off to start the match. Carlos Delgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jano Andrade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 14 minutes in the game Demetrio Mostache did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Juan Eduardo Guerrero. 15 minutes into the match, Juan Eduardo Guerrero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Doriva Coutinho. U21 Brazil's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juan Eduardo Guerrero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 19th minute of the game. One of U21 Brazil:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of U21 Ecuador:s goal. 20 minutes into the match, Castro Lugardo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Doriva Coutinho. The crowd rose to their feet as Nicolas Romero kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Carlos Delgado. That made the score 2-4 in the 92 minute of play. The throw-in from Josué Vaz in the 96th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by U21 Ecuador's Carlos Almiron.
