Form Question
By oilercountry - 28-05-2013 06:51
Most of my players on my team have low form and are overplayed. I know to play 6 games a week to keep good form, but as a club member I have signed up for every club member cup therefore forcing them to play more than 6 games a week. I rarely do friendlies, maybe 1 home and home a week. I was reading the MZwiki and it said that cup/FL games can only positively affect form, so if I'm only playing 4 games a week (2 league 2 friendly) plus my plethora of cup games, why are my players still overplayed? How to I get them to be content?

As a minimum you should be playing 2 league, 4 friendly games (2 away and 2 home games) to keep your form up. Any cup games should improve form as well. The only thing that I can think of is maybe you played too many friendlies in one week? I can't look to far back at your games so it's hard to tell.

But he said he rarely does friendlies, maybe that is the problem. You must play 4 friendlies and 2 league matches. Forget about the cups, they help you but not as much as those 4 friendlies weekly

Wouldn't they then lose form and be underplayed then?

yes indeed, I've found the problem. He's been playing a single match everyday but more then 4 week, absolutely wrong!!

For perfect form formulas:
2 leagues + 4 friendlies + unlimited cup and/or friendly league matches
2 leagues + 4+ cup and/or friendly league matches
6 friendlies + unlimited cup and/or friendly league matches
6+ cup and/or friendly league matches
(of course means that you can compensate missing friendly matches with cup and/or friendly league matches)
