Barcelona - Greatest Cheats ever?

So Barcelona have complained about a ref that gave them a dodgy penalty. Apparently when two of their players took a dive he did not stop the game for them. Despite all their diving in recent years they feel the need to resort to this sort of thing. It is sad because people will forget the football, and only remember the diving and whining in years to come.So Barcelona have complained about a ref that gave them a dodgy penalty. Im not asking you to accept bara wasnt has good as they were before (the core of barca's team was still in control in most of barca's games), im asking you to accept teams have found them out, it took time for teams to adapt to how barca was playing which made them so successful. It only required a team to implement the right tactics with the right players and thats why the german sides were so effective cos they're master tacticians. That's what you have to accept. You shouldn't make excuses. Barca did pretty well against other teams like PSG, they dominated most of the play, thrashed milan, so really dont see how they went from brilliant to average like you imply. If you cant see what Bayern did to barca wasnt just down to game plan and using the right tactics then you really don't know anything about football.

Bayern were the better team and could have actually scored in double figures. And Barca got through on goal difference against PSG, lost to milan in the first leg, so it was hardly a dominating performance was it? Tbh its a combination of both, Bayern being the better team with better tactics as well as Barca not being as good as they were before. To claim otherwise is an outright lie.

Today, Barça is Messi and 10 other guys (including a couple of nice names). And that is a hell of a lot except when he is injured. But please remember that in this semifinals Mascherano and Puyol were out and Abidal is recovering from cancer. This explains a lot of the weakness of Barcelona in defense. And I am an Athletic de Bilbao fan, overrunned by them in two finals in the last four years. Those guys deserve credit for the years they've given to football and despites the fact that football today has mainly become a business.Today, Barça is Messi and 10 other guys (including a couple of nice names). Thats rubbish if the germans didnt have their tactics just right, they too would have fallen just like the other teams did, barca have always done much better at home, Barca at their prime got beaten away by aresenal 3 seasons back if you remember. The major difference has to be the tactics the germans employed its obvious to any football fan! barca still have their core team, whether they performed at their best or not they would have been out played at their own game. No other team ever pressed the way Bayern, did you see robbie?, he exemplified the way bayern pressed, barca was put under pressure and made tonnes of mistakes missed chances and ended up making passes you only see english teams do.

Nonsense. I have watched 90 percent of Barca games this season and i actually thought Bayern didn't really press that much but they were very organised in defense and extremely efficient in attack. Occasionally they pressed high up the pitch to put pressure on the defense and the keeper but they would fall back immediately into a deeper organised stance. Yes Barca have not been that good away from home even when they were dominating but a 0-7 loss? It takes a little more that just pressing to do that to Barca. Bayern were better than Barca at EVERYTHING. I was watching the english stream with english commentators and they kept mentioning that this Barca side were not as good at pressing as they were under Guardiola. And they were right - the pressing is not the same, tactics is not the same, the defense is not the same. The centreback partnership is nowhere near as good and consistent as it used to be. The manager is not the same. Anyone can see that, there's not use pretending otherwise.

Barca did the same pressing but the germans were just too organized which meant barca's pressing didnt work! Had Barca played Byern with the same team same management 12 months back the germans wouldn't have been ready, time stands still for no one.

Barca's pressing game was nullified by Byern's organization (which I've pointed out before), surely anyone with any football brains can see that barring you!. Accept it and move on Barca was found out and was only as good as their pressing game. When another team played them at their own game they were just as bad as any other team when being pressed to the extreme. Barca lost their way, even their passing game became ordinary.

You are one sore frigging loser. Go and sulk some where else. It would have made no frigging difference if Barca was on top form with or without messi, they still would have been beaten, barca were only as good as their pressing game, they're a bunch of cowards by deploying the type of extreme pressing in their game, they were scared of the other sides offensive play. as good as their offensive play they were bad for the game. Im glad they got a kicking and battered the way they did. Just look at how they handled their own type of pressing played against them, headless chickens they were. They got a taste of their own medicine didn't they, at least we didn't get to see just one side passing the ball to each other, I'd rather watch division one!!!!!!! It's actually the other way around... their pressing game is only as good as the rest of their game. True but, without their pressing game they wouldn't have dominated as they did in recent times, but they got found out. Thats why I said their recent success was largely due to the employment of their extreme pressing game. But it soon dawned on people it was bad for the game in many ways.
